Margaret MacDonald is an Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She attended Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland for her Accelerated BSN and MSN. Margaret moved to Burney from Carlsbad, California (just north of San Diego). She has always been interested in rural and wilderness medicine so she is excited to practice in Burney. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she was a high technology business executive and lived and worked in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. Her previous bachelor’s degree is East Asian Studies, with studies at Yale University and San Diego State University. Margaret is an Army “brat” and has lived in various states, as well as Korea and Germany. She enjoys travel, hiking, sporting clays, classic old movies, gardening, and just hanging out with her friends and her dog.
