Mountain Valleys Health Centers Hosts Homeless Outreach

MVHC hosted a Homeless Outreach on October 8. 2016 in Burney. We were able to provide meals, showers, health screening, flu shots, blood draws, clothing, blankets, boots and shoes and care for a number of our local homeless population. Our staff was joined by a number of partners, including Mayers Memorial Hospital, Lassen County Public Health, The Pit River Casino, Burney Fabricare, Hill Country Clinic’s Circle of Friends as well as generous donations from community members and the MVHC staff. Our staff was impressed by the gratefulness and humility of those that we were able to help.
