Mountain Valleys Health Centers (MVHC) is pleased to announce five scholarships were awarded to local students this year. Recipients of the MVHC “Making a Difference” Scholarship were as follows; Hope Dodgen from Big Valley Junior-Senior High School, Ranee Betz from Fall River Junior-Senior High School, Natalie and Anahi Pena from Tulelake High School, and continuing education student, Marinda May. The scholarship committee selected the five individuals based on their commitment to academics, community engagement, and leadership.
“Investing in our local students is a priority for us,” said Dave Jones, CEO for MVHC. “Each of the recipients were awarded scholarships because they demonstrated a clear commitment to improving their communities as well as continuing to pursue higher education.”
Mountain Valleys Health Centers would like to wish all the 2018 graduates great success in their future endeavors!
